Biography

Cameron Perry is an award-winning film director based in London.

In 2019, his short film "Better Together" found success winning the UK Nespresso Talents and was consequently screened at Cannes Film Festival that year.

Cameron’s next project ”When The Clapping Stops” followed the story of a carer abandoned by the UK care sector and was released in 2022. The short film won Gold at the 1.4 Awards; was shortlisted at the Berlin Commercial Awards; screened at BAFTA-qualifying Bolton Film Festival and was also selected at 5x BIFA-qualifying festivals, including Wimbledon Shorts where Cameron picked up the Best Young Filmmaker award.

"A Grade Students" marks Cameron's debut in the comedy genre and was recently a winner at the Shiny Awards in Amsterdam. The film will screen at BAFTA-qualifying Norwich Film Festival in November.
